A message from the founder;

The UK trains and develops incredible throwers every day, with thanks to dedicated coaches and welcoming clubs, young talent is thriving. Being a level 3 throws coach myself, I have trained these athletes and seen how great they can become. I have also seen young promising athletes stop training altogether. This could be because a different sport is simply more important to them and the training demand for that sport is getting higher, or exam season approaches and the kids need to shift their time towards that and simply don’t come back. Or they do not see a future in the sport we love. Looking into reasons why this is, I have found that the UK athletics system does not provide a prosperous future that athletes can look forward to, the few scholarships the UK are able to offer are very lacking. Only covering few costs and leaving the athlete to front all the other costs. In this current system, athletics (especially throwing) can only ever be seen as a hobby, not a profession. I have seen and trained very gifted athletes who deserve a proper future in the sport, who train hard, listen well and improve every week however this system can not provide the future they deserve or want. I have set out to change this. This site allows talented UK throwers to be seen by US collages and Universities. Helping provide them with the chance of getting scholarships to the US institutions that take athletics and athletes seriously, that help support the athlete through schooling while providing top tier competition for them. That is the dream and hope of this site. To give those who deserve it, a chance for a scholarship in the US where they can train and grow, not just as an athlete but as a person.
